Hello there friends! My name is Chisum, certified good boy and a therapy dog in training. I’m overjoyed to help you along your healing journey, however I can without opposable thumbs.

I’m a big fan of hugs and pets, especially if they come with treats. I like to spend my days hiking with my mom, and taking down my immortal enemy (stuffed animals). My favorite days of all are when I get to work with mom and meet new friends.

So here I am, striking my best pose to win your hearts. I can’t wait to meet you some day!

*A note from my mom: Chisum occasionally joins me for weekend appointments to get accustomed to the atmosphere, but he doesn’t join in sessions. However, he has proven to be very well behaved tucked under the table in previous sessions if you are interested in having a furry friend that day.

Chisum likes to say hello and goodbye to his new friends, but I will always ask permission before introducing you to avoid any discomfort, fears, or allergies.

If I plan on bringing Chisum that day, I will let you know ahead of time just in case!
